Sarah Kennedy has gathered a full band to do a second performance of her most recent project, a Joni Mitchell and Charles Mingus tribute. The show was inspired by the lyrical and compositional genius of the collaborative album “Mingus," the melding of poetic folk music and avant-garde jazz at its finest. A rare opportunity to hear this complex music reinterpreted for an intimate setting, the show will cover the entire "Mingus" album as well as other pieces from Joni's and Mingus' lifeworks.
